There are a lot of things to consider when arranging an fishing charter. First off, not all big game offshore deep sea fishing charters are equal. We provide the highest quality yacht and equipment available on the Outer Banks at a price that is the same as our competition charters. Our boat is licensed by the state of North Carolina and you will not need an individual fishing license.
Definitely, although we try to release all billfish and other fish that are protected species, you are welcome to keep your fish. There are fish cleaning facilities available at the marina. Please remember to bring a large cooler to transport your catch home.
We provide the latest state-of-the-art fishing tackle from 30# up to 130# class outfits all the the necessary tackle, lures and bait.
Unless you hear differently from the captain, it is best to plan to be at the dock before your pre-arranged departure time. If our captain determines that a trip is unsafe he would then give you your option of rescheduling another day or receiving a full refund.
The mate works hard to ensure that you have a safe and successful trip. Customary tips are between 15% and 20%.
  • Small cooler with enough food and drink for the day
  • Layered clothing
  • Sunglasses (preferably polarized)
  • Sunscreen
  • Rubber soled shoes (preferably deck shoes)
  • Motion sickness medicine (if you are not sure about seasickness)
  • Cooler to take your catch home (please leave large coolers in your vehicle until we return)
